"Zoe"

This is a photo of our sweet Border Collie Zoe that we purchased from you in April 2002. Zoe has been a member of our family for 7 years now. She is a very, sweet, affectionate border collie. She gives great hugs, and has slept in our son's room since she was a puppy. She is very active, and will run for hours in our backyard and is always eager for a walk. She gets along fine with our three year old granddaughter. At first she was afraid of her, but has learned that she is the source of constant treats, much to my chagrin. Fortunately, Zoe's love of running has maintained her svelte figure.

I used to do agility with her, until I had some health problems and a new granddaughter to help raise and had to quit. Honestly, she had a really hard time focusing in agility. Probably due to her bad handler! She did earn her novice titles and she also earned her Canine Good Citizen. I took her for a herding instinct test and she was really nervous around the sheep. She eventually caught on and did get her certificate. She absolutely loves to play Frisbee and would make a really good disc dog if I was a better disc tosser. Her favorite Frisbee is on the roof of my son's middle school. Poor dog is handicapped by her handler. On the other hand, she is a pretty good trainer, she has trained my granddaughter to throw the ball for her.

"Trevor"

I have a border collie that I picked out from one of your litters about 2 1/2 years ago. Trevor is absolutely beautiful, friendly and extremely smart. He's a wonderful companion to our family and he would have been any amazing working dog. He spends every opportunity he gets stalking our cat, Jasmine. If she twitches her ear, Trevor knows! :)
He has never had any health issues and his obedience training was actually reduced in price because he finished training days earlier than scheduled. Not to mention, I've read in many places that Border Collies aren't as affectionate as other breeds but, Trevor is the most affectionate dog I've ever known. Thank you for the wonderful dog.

Here's a photo; isn't he handsome?!

"Scout"

He is doing great. I love him so much and don't know what I would do without him, he is my little buddy!!
His brother Rusty is adorable too. I thought about getting Scout involved in going to nursing homes as well.

"Gracie"
Clean bill of health.
Thanks for a healthy baby. I'll send you pics every once in a while if you want so you can see her progress. I can never express to you how happy she has made me. Thank you so very much for Gracie.

You know she is sooo smart she knows how to open her crate. I have been asleep and all the sudden feel her jump up on the bed. What a character she is.

Sandra

Just wanted to send a adult picture of Gracie. She has really been a wonderful companion. She is such a joy to have. We recently adopted a rabbit and they are the best of friends. He lets her groom him head to toe. She's also fond of swimming and chasing ducks at the nearby park.  She's 2-1/2 now. We just love her to death, can't imagine being without her.

Thank you as always for my lovely baby girl

"Rusty"
Our handsome 10month old Rusty has found a great new home on 200 acres near Pilot Point, Texas. He and his new friend, a 27" mini horse will be traveling to nursing homes and visiting the patients there. His new owner sent this beautiful picture and had this to say.

"Rusty made himself right at home. Every step I make he makes...."

Hello....just a little update on Rusty. He has become top Dog around here. As you can see he and his two playmates love the water and are constantly getting into things all around the ranch. Rusty thinks he can herd the turkeys, mini horses, mini donkeys and me...lol Thanks so much for a great companion for all my critters,
Lee

"Olive"

Hi Diana,

I thought I’d send you a quick little update with a few pictures. I love my puppy. She is such a sweet dog and we all enjoy her so much. She has now learned to jump the baby gate out of the kitchen (they don’t call them agility dogs for nothing I guess) and is quite the escape artist! She also can make it to the top of the “big bed”. She loves her toys, squeaky things, and bones, bones, and more bones. Her favorites are the peanut butter flavored raw-hides. Our vet said that she sure is “one good looking dog”.

I realize it’s been a very long time since I emailed you last but I just wanted you to know how happy I am with my “daughter’s” dog J.  It’s been 1-1/2 years now and I love her so much.  She is the sweetest, smartest, best dog ever!  She is our house clown, companion, guard dog, and all time snuggle buddy.  If we are home she is in a lap getting spoiled!  Here’s an updated photo.  See what a beautiful girl she is!

"Champ"

Hi Diana, thought you might like to see a photo of Champ. I won Photographer of the Day (POD) with his photo this past Sunday. I am a member of The Photographer's Workshop and submit daily photos, it's an honor to win POD!...Champ loves our ferrets, he plays with them and thinks he's a ferret sometimes I think...He sure is a sweetheart. We have someone (Companion Canine) coming to do an in-home consultation with Champ this week. She will teach us the proper techniques to train Champ while he's a puppy, then we will go on to bigger, better things as he grows older.
Thanks so much!

"Otley"

I took home one of the little sable boys of Lucy's about two weeks ago. I just wanted you to know that he is doing wonderful, growing really fast, and loves to play! We named him Otley. He is already learning tricks!! He can sit, stay, come, and lay down. That one is my favorite, because he sort of plops down. It is adorable. He is also doing great on potty training. He got lots of toys for Christmas too! I am sending a picture of him with one of his favorite toys (besides my slippers). I cannot believe how much he has grown! Thank you so much for the wonderful puppy!! He has made us very happy, and we will be loving him for a long time.

"Daisy"

I wanted to send you a quick email to give you an update on the puppy we bought from you on Saturday. She is doing GREAT. We absolutely love her. My girls are loving having a puppy in the house. They are so gentle with her and love to just sit and pet her. My daughter wanted to name her Daisy, so I guess Daisy it is!! Right now she's asleep on the floor next to my husband. She is such a sweet puppy!

"Reagan"

Hi,
I'm the one that got the pup from your litter in November 2001, Reagan. We've been very successful thus far with
her at agility and frisbee and she has turned out to be a terrific dog. Her mom was Angel and her dad was Mac.
Here's what she looks like now.

Thanks,
CD

"Maddie"

I bought a Border Collie from y'all last year and I found your website when I was referring you to a friend. I just wanted to email you and let you know how wonderful our little dog is!! She is so smart and beautiful and we couldn't have a better dog. I attached some pictures so you can see how beautiful she is. She is very smart as well and knows a number of commands and games. Her favorite game is frisbee and we can't say the word (or even spell it!) without her getting excited. Well, anyway, I've been wanting to contact you know just how much we love Maddie and how pleased we've been with her. Thanks again!

Sincerely,
Tim and Stacy Merkin
